COURSE DESCRIPTION AND INTENDED AUDIENCE
'Beyond the Basics' is a 2 day course which reviews the components of an EP study, and continues on to review the various supraventricular and ventricular tachycardias and their accompanying electrogram patterns. The intended audience for this course is those with at least six months to a year of electrophysiology lab or industry experience. This course provides 2 texts, one a 150 page tracing rich syllabus and numerous video presentations. Lunch is included with registration.

CONFERENCE OBJECTIVES
Upon completion of this program the learner will be able to...

1. Identify sinus rhythm, atrial pacing and extrastimulus testing, and ventricular pacing and extrastimulus testing in an electrophysiologic study.

2. Discuss techniques used during EP testing for supraventricular rhythm studies.

3. List findings which lead to the diagnosis of supraventricular rhythms during the EP study.

4. State techniques used with atrial flutter and atrial fibrillation studies.

5. Be familiar with the diagnostic features and sub-types of ventricular tachycardia.

6. Identify the high risk disorders and indications for ICD implantation.
